PORTRAIT/FIGURE (Currently, no classes scheduled)
One week we will have a portrait model, the next a figure model. If you prefer, you can paint a still life or bring your own work to complete.
ADVANCED (PLEIN-AIR) PAINTING
Plein-Air painting is one of the most exciting and rewarding aspects of being an artist, but it's not a great studio for beginners. Working outdoors brings special challenges, and requires previous experience. So I call this Advanced Painting, even though all artists with basic skills are welcome. This is a challenging experience for any artist, but it is at the core of all great work. If you're ready to take your work to the next level, join us out of doors in fair weather, indoors during rainstorms or windstorms. A block of eight classes (two months) is $600, or drop-in classes are $100 each.
Semi-private and Private studio and Plein-Air classes are available as well. Contact David with questions on these or any classes. David's cell/studio line is (805) 657-5385.
