Eternal Reflection- Malibu Bird Sanctuary
Sunset is a time when I feel especially close to nature, at one with the planet. Nowhere do I feel this more than at the Malibu Bird Sanctuary at Surfrider State Beach. A cross on the hills in the distance reminds us that at Serra Retreat Monastery monks still pause at every sunset to meditate and pray as they keep alive ancient rituals of introspection.
