In May I took a trip to Carmel, where I had a chance to do one of my favorite paintings of the show. I wish I had a picture of myself painting this one; balanced on the rocks with my easle, holding my hat on in the wind with a light strapped to my forehead. Actually, it was quite serene there if not for the wind.
