Stormy Sunset- Thousand Oaks
One of the most difficult things about painting on location is dealing with the elements. Rain, wind and bitter cold are common obstacles when I'm painting my favorite kind of sky: Stormy! I got a little wet on this March night while painting the sunset over my home town of Thousand Oaks, but like most plein-air painters I'll take rain over wind any time.
