After so much focusing on the serene aspect of sunsets, I was intrigued with this scene which looks something like a war zone. I was standing at the end of the runway of the Camarillo Airport, which is indicated by the two red lights in front of me. Airplanes were loudly taking off right over me, and a refinery in the distance lent a plume of smoke to the scene. Five feet behind me produce trucks sped past on thier routes, and I wondered if any of them would even notice the spectacular orange sky in the west. It must have been a great view from the cockpit.
