Summer Solstice
There is something timeless about sunsets. Out in nature, you get the feeling you are seeing the same sunset that was seen ten thousand years ago. At no time is the connection with our ancient ancestors as strong for me as a solstice sunset. Even the most primitive people noticed this occurance and marked it with prayers and celebrations of life. Today, I offer my paintings as prayers and celebrations with the same awe of the world around me.
